/qa/ is a general use board. the idea is to make the site focused on general OC usage and media sharing, not just one board.

The original point of the zarty was to be a place for the teens who liked lig to have a place to chill, since early Froot era was a bit weird. It was also for lig OC and other activities (basically a /zellig/ themed bunker). Both the sharty and zellig were vastly different from what they are right now. 
From my point of view, the sharty is dead. What made it fun is gone and is a sincking ship. The demoghraphic has also drastically changed. I dont find joy going to that site anymore for a lot of reasons.
Ongezellig is a fininshed project. Massa has moved on from the "show", which all it has is a pilot and a bunch of promotional art. This is not a good enough base for a community to last on its own. I saw a bunch of people coping and trying to continue Ongezllig (like ROY and the other one) to try and inspire Massa to continue. Others make drama and attempt to spread it. A lot of the people that i used to know from lig and the sharty have moved on. 
At one point, i wanted to just close the site, since i thought that i gained what i could from this project and there was nothing else to learn from it. The only reason that i am rethinking this is because a bunch of people wanted the site to contine (as just another generic altchan...how original). If its going to continue, then i atleast wish it to be themed around something i am interested in - original content. I cant find an imageboard that focuses on amature content creators sharing their creations, building up connections and sharing tips/opinions. 

Some may not like this. I dont force you to be here, although i woudnt mind zellig discussion and OC (some i still enjoy but its not the same as it used to be). People can still go to the sharty and it's splinters and interact with whatever userbase is still left there. I dont care if the site dies because of this shift. I have nothing to lose except a bunch of money for an idea that i find worth trying and seeing where it goes. If it fails, then whatever. I would still be satisfied with how the site went.

If somebody wishes to host a zarty 'ru, then cool. I dont have any interest in doing so. It would be better to have a MEGA file with up to date art and such (like previous ones).
