>>3237 i’m seeing more people online treat self-harm as a casual thing, as if it were a normal coping mechanism akin to stimming. it can also be seen as a fashion statement, sort of like body modifications (piercings can be considered self-harm too if you stretch the definition). frankly, it’s probably not even a bad thing. if less people care about self-harm then less people will be inclined to do it to fish for sympathy and attention.
