i'm assuming she would support the british loyalists given that they were more outspokenly conservative, (doebeit that's not to say all of the IRA were commies or socialists in the lefty sense, but that's unrelated) she's orange, which is an allusion to william of orange, who was himself dutch, and the orange order, a prominent unionist organisation. britain is also, like the netherlands, a nation with a historical protestant majority and had a large colonial empire. the only way i could see her supporting the IRA would be if she held the anglo-dutch wars, the british seizing dutch colonies and the usurping of the netherlands' great naval prowess against the brits and sided with the nationalists as a reaction against historical grievances which could be plausible considering her character, o algo.
