It's not that bad, Russia still has nuclear weapons, but I can imagine a scenario when a corrupt government that comes after Putin outright sells parts of Siberia to China or Chinese immigrants settle it and it becomes de facto a part of Chinese jurisdiction despite being Russian on maps. The best that could happen is if Russians somehow ousted the Cold War glownigger gerontocracy that governs the country, stopped the buffer zone building and proxy wars with NATO in Eastern Europe (as if EU was capable or interested in invading Russia, lol) and actually started preparing to cut all economic ties with China or at least secured alternative supply sources, because otherwise, if the current trend of getting dependent on imports from China continues, they will get sanctioned by the Chinese and their economy will then crumble.
