Mazz, 8,6 mln it's only casualties that were recorded in divisions' documentation. For example, if you will wanna check documentation of, idk, some soviet division which were eliminated during 1941 in besiegement, you can't do it. So yeah, Krivosheyev just tricked in this case, saying that casualties were 8,6 mln (other documents with casualties of many divisions had been lost). Official army documentation affirms that the actual (sic!) casualties were 18 mln. Furthermore, there were also such formations as "чорносвитники". I just wanna say that 18 mln it's the lowest estimation. Unfortunately, we don't know how many people like "чорносвитники" died in the war, and, seems to be, won't ever know.
By the way, non-jewish civil casualties were much lower than nin-jewish casualties in "non-occupied" territories.

National-socialist policy was "Neue Europa" and "Neue Ordnung". "Lebensraum" it just the term towards German farmer diaspora in Russia (weird that you don't call the Romanovs slavophobic, they also settle underpopulated lands on the East of their Empire with Germans). If you wanna research german plans for the Eastern Europa, you can read "Ostaufgaben der Wissenschaft". In addition, Generalplan Ost had no power and any sense (its compilers noted it in the plan itself and their, however it would be expected, notes), the real NSDAP politics on the East was "Heim Im Reich", when they resettle (!) the German colonists from East (!!) back to Germany (!!!). Not to mention that the only lands Nazis were wanting to colonize it's so-called "Polish corridor", that's to say Posen and Danzig regions (they hadn't Germanic people enough to settle even these territory, lol).
