ESL of the Year Award is an annual award given for the most creative misuse of the English language resulting from being an ESL shitskin. Due to the short history of the zarty, the award has been presented only once in 2024.

In 2024, the award was given to Jeet for his sentence "oh I forgetted did that", described as "the biggest fail in the zarty's history". Since the original post is missing, the exact date he received this award is not known. Most probably it happened in early December or late November.It was found. The post was made on 11th December. It was collectively and unanimously given the award by the Zarty.
