Massadonië is a Discord server created on April 2nd, 2016, that functions as Studio Massa’s official Discord server[1]. It is used by several prominent members of the Ongezellig fandom, such as Cam and GHANSHAN. Zoot was once a member of the server, but he was banned due to sharing its invite link[2]. Soyjak content is generally unwelcomed due to a large amount of soyjak.party users raiding the server and posting obscene material, including child pornography[3].

The verification method used in the server is said to be extremely privacy invading, as the moderators can allegedly see what servers you’re in and who’s on your friends list[4].

The "Cocomelon" incident

There are allegation that the voice actor of Coco, Merel, crushed a watermelon with her thighs during a IRL event streamed by Massa known as "Massameet". Apparently, someone brought a watermelon for Coco's VA to crush with her thighs, because she is quite tall. It's worth noting it was awkward for everyone. She did it apparently for a joke. There were (allegedly) underage viewers and Coco's VA was allegedly underage when she did that. Frenzied confirmed it did happen.

GussyWussy

GussyWussy was an artist in the server who was extremely liked by the admins of Massadonië, but he often drew the Ongezellig girls with the proportions of lolis while wearing skintight clothing or nearly naked bar a few details. Due to this, several members of the server accused his renditions of being pedophilic in nature, these members were typically treated unfavorably by the moderators. Their fears were realized, however, when it was discovered that GussyWussy had created pornographic art of Lisa Simpson with the same child-like proportions back in 2013. It was also discovered that his girlfriend, who goes by “Meliwelly” in the server, asked for childlike characters in a pornographic game on itch.io under the username “Melidebby” on December 4th, 2021[5]. After the moderators received this information, they confronted GussyWussy and temporarily muted him, but other members of the server advocated for a harsher punishment[6]. Foenkie, the most prominent moderator of Massadonië, alluded to GussyWussy once having a sexual attraction towards real children in direct messages, as he stated the artist “sought help irl”, most likely for pedophilia[7]. GussyWussy has also collaborated with Rod Scorpion[8], a lolicon and shotacon enthusiast known for making Ongezellig porn, one particular example being of Maya having sex with a young boy. The mods encouraged GussyWussy to ease on the skintight and sexually adjacent drawings, it’s unclear if this was before or after his old porn account was found[9].

2022 Purge

At some point during 2022, the moderators of Massadonië conducted a poll asking members of the server if they thought racist and edgy content should be allowed in the server. 84 members voted Yes and 68 members voted No. After the poll ended, the moderators subsequently kicked most, if not all, of the Yes voters, most of which being internationals[10]. Mike, a mod, created an infographic which demonstrated that No voters had far more messages than Yes voters. He used this data to conclude that there is reason to believe that No voters were roughly five times as active in the community as Yes voters[11]. A lot of people objected to the moderators actions, but the mods reasoned that since Discord doesn’t tolerate hateful content and that the larger active part of the community didn’t want to see it, they had no reason to facilitate the continued membership of the people who voted to keep those unwanted aspects within their community and encouraged those who disagreed with their decisions for political reasons to leave and never comeback; saying that they would not be missed[12].
