Zaryans

Not to be confused with Zelliggers

Zaryans are the international (mostly english-speaking) fans of the 2018 dutch webseries Ongezellig They are mainly concentrated on their homeland, Soyzellig.party, referred by the Zaryans as the Zarty, along within offsite diasporas, such as 4chan's /co/, soyjak.party, twitter and der' cord.

History

The Zaryans have existed since at least July of 2018, when an english thread talking about Ongezellig was posted on 4chan's /co/ (comics and cartoons) board. On August 2021, Zaryans started migrating to the /qa/ board of 4cuck, which at the time was mostly dedicated to soyjaks. The deletion of /qa/ in November forced the Zaryans to establish a settlement on the Sharty's /qa/ board. In September 2023, the Zarty, a Zaryan ethnoboard, was established by Zoot. The Zaryan population, at least in their imageboard, is increasing.

Off-site diasporas

Whilst mainly being concentrated on the Zarty, there exists a lot of off-site Zaryan communities, some being older than the Zarty itself. Smost of thuch communities can be found on Xitter, 4cuck, the sharty and the shemmy. However, most of those communities, like on the Sharty, have been decreasing since the creation of the Zarty.
