Soyzellig.party (also known as the 'Zarty in soy speak) is an imageboard created the 27th of September of 2023 for soyteens that enjoy Dutch tranime Ongezellig. Users of the site are called "Zaryans", they are best known for hating frogniggers and they have their own variation of the IAS/NAS soycept (soy concept), being IAZ; Is A 'Zellig and NAZ; Not A 'Zellig. The site is currently owned by Zoot, who also programmed and released it to the public on the 27th but currently this site is run by jannycord. All pornographic and gore content is banned (unless properly censored), meaning that it is a Safe For Work site. Frogs are also banned tho due to raiding in the past.

The concept of an Ongezellig imageboard, or a /zellig/ board on soyjak.party, has been as old as the sharty itself. There have been multiple attempts at a zellig imageboard, all of them having failed except the Zarty. The sharty's /Zellig/ board had a good run until being deleted by sharty jannies.

zellig.party (????-????)

The earliest attempt at a zellig imageboard separate of the sharty is zellig.party. It was run by someone named Vinluv, and was supposed to be a paid website, with a one week free trial period. After the trial period ended, the website became unavailable. As of now, trying to access the website will prompt you to a message saying the domain expired, effectively meaning the project is dead.

zellig.site (May 23 ????-????)

A second attempt at making a zellig site is zellig.site. The board had (at least) 3 boards: /raid/, /lig and /q/. During the opening, the board was raided with cp spammers. One or two weeks after the raid, the owner loaded rDrama.net's code into the website, effectively changing the site into a reddit board that required accounts to post and view the site. A few days after, one of the owner's der'cord conversations got leaked, and the site got shut down, never to be talked about again.

/Zellig/ board (????-????)

When Doll was in control of the sharty, the zellig subculture was repressed, with many threads being banished, and the Zaryans could only dream of a homeland.

After the Soypocalypse, the Zaryans migrated to other imageboards, with little to no success in establishing a community on those.

When soyjak.party was restored, Froot, the new owner, established the 50 board plan, where 50 boards of all subjects (including zellig) were introduced. After the plan would end, 'jakkers would have to vote for which board will stay and which will be deleted. /zellig/ defeated /dawla/, /health/ and /psy/. The board was then locked, raided and ultimately deleted.

The Zarty (September 27 2023-Today)

The deletion of /zellig/, and the subsequent destruction of a potential Zaryan homeland in the Sharty has prompted discussions about a zellig imageboard, independant from the Sharty. On september 22 2023, a thread on /qa/ was held, where the discussion of creating a 'Zellig imageboard occured. In this thread, the domain soyzellig.party was found to be "very cheap" and Zoot decided to buy it and set up an image board with the knowledge he got from ImageBoard setup tutorials on YouTube. Before the site was made public, he used TinyIB-Wippy (a simplified fork of TinnyIB) as the script for the site, since he was too smart to install Vichan (eventho it takes 1 hour MAX). After three days of learning HTML and CSS and realising that TinnyIB-Wippy is too shit to act as a zaryan homeland, Zoot attempted to install Vichan. After 4 more days of somehow screwing the simplest of tasks and reinstalling the script 3 times, he managed to get the site up and running. Before the opening, on the 27th the site was "leaked" on the thread after Zoot posted and deleted it for some reason, where it was found to be a blank website with the rules written on it in orange letters. This page was used as a psyop to deter 'teens from entering the still-in-beta site and spamming it with 'p.

A post on the Zarty revealed that Zoot has made a contract with Godaddy for hosting the website, and that the aforementioned contract will expire on September 26th 2024. On July 18, 2024, a /q/ thread by NuAdmin revealed that Zoot's online activity had steadily decreased since 'zellig's cancellation, culminating into fears that Zoot would leave the site to expire[1]. Many Zaryans quickly developed signs of stage 2-gorillion acute depression, and doomposting became frequent. After a lengthy silence, on July 26, 2024, Zoot announced on /q/ that he would be holding a JewTube Q&A livestream. Zaryans were allowed to post questions for the stream as replies[2]. During the stream, Zoot revealed that his passion for 'zellig and ability to relate to 'teens had mostly died out, and his plans for the future of the site were still uncertain[3]. Restless Zaryan 'teens would finally have a chance to settle when on August 26th, Zoot would make another thread on /q/. This time, he stated that the site contract would be renewed, and a heavier focus would be placed on original content gems made by Zaryans[4]. Dead nigger boards such as /co/ and /raid/ were removed.

Future

With PPH mostly stabilizing after the release of multiple OC gems and the deletion of /zate/, the future is uncertain at best for The Zarty and the Zaryans who call it home. Will it be coalled into oblivion by racebait and countrywars? Or will the tides turn in favor of thoughtful effortposters? It's up to (You)...

/zellig/ is for IAZ (Ongezellig content) and soft NAZ (Studio Massa’s other work and content loosely related to Ongezellig) plus anything that is connected to the Zarty community. It is by far the most popular board on the site.

/oc/ - Original Content (Locked)

/oc/ is a board dedicated to hosting Ongezellig original content. A lot of art threads from /zellig/ have been moved to this board.

/chud/ - Lord of the Shows (Locked)

A dead nigger of board about operations seeking to chuddify other animated (and non-animated) shows. Created by jannycord. It is currently locked.

/brabant/ - International Politics

/brabant/ mainly for politics and other real life events, but random content is also tolerated, essentially being the zarty's version of 4cuck's /pol/. It derives its name from Maya’s birthplace. It is misspelled as /brabat/ in Da Rules page[5].

/drenthe/ - Drenthe

/drenthe/ is an experimental board with 5 pages. Usually low quality threads (Both IAZ and NAZ) get posted there, a big portion of threads are moved from /zellig/. Some say it's /zate/ 2.0^{[it just is, ok?]} .

/test/ - test

/test/ is a hidden board without a theme.

/co/ - Comics & Cartoons (Terminated)

/co/ is for sharing cartoons that may be of interest to other Zaryans. It was made as an alternative to 4chan’s /co/ board. It was removed on September 1st, alongside /raid/.

/raid/ - Raiding and trolling (Terminated)

/raid/ was for orchestrating raids. It was removed on September 1st, alongside /co/.

/ssb/ - super secret board (Terminated)

/ssb/ was a not-so-super-secret board without any theme accessible from the home page.

/agugu/ - agugu (Terminated)

/agugu/ was a hidden board dedicated for agugu posters. It is the shortest lived board in the site’s history, lasting only a day.

/nsfw/ - NOT SAFE FOR WORK (Terminated)

/nsfw/ was a joke board added for April Fools Day.

/zate/ - SFW coals (Terminated)

/zate/ was a board where threads were moved to if they were deemed low quality by moderators.

/r9k/ - Trans Rights Board (Terminated)

/r9k/ is a board derived from the 4chan board of the same name. It was mostly used to discuss incel mythology.
