Twitter (also referred to as Xitter or Shitter) is a social media platform where registered users can make tweets, small posts that contain 280 characters or less, along with images and videos. The platform is usually despised for being festering with dramatrannies, actual trannies, pedophiles, jews and chud larpers, whose idea of a gem consists in putting a sonnenrad behind something, their favourite country's flag and a rendition of Better Off Alone.

Despite all of this, a big percentage of Zaryans use the platform, including Zoot and Zuz, but most of the Ongezellig banter on this site comes from trannies, which are all subhuman niggerphiles.

After the end of the Instagram shilling operation, the platform started to gain more traction as a middle ground in which Zaryans and Zelliggers can interact without fear of repercussions, even getting its own dedicated art thread, which quickly started to become one of the most prominent thread, and with subsequent subthreads related to the Twitter sphere.

"Culture"

Since Twitter has gone full blown white supremacist, nazi, antisoymitic, racist, holocaust denier ever since Elon Musk decided to remove the clittycage from a corner of the Internet, the majority of users on the platform are either Right Wing or generally despise anything to do with the Left. This would be gemmy if not for the fact it also attracts cunnypedos, in fact, saying how much you love 'p and fucking children is completely allowed on X (Formerly Chuck's) and moderation is next to none. This allows groups such as zlgfan's 'cord cabal to post undisturbed on the app, and being a cancer to the Internet.

On the topic of Twitter culture, it has none: it's all reposts or repurposed imageboard memes, including Ongezellig, which often get posted by the most low IQ of brown sub-humans in an attempt to be a trad and based white man (which they'll never be). On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have your usual trannies, which often get into fights with the aforementioned group, and also represent a cancer to the Internet as a whole. Sometimes a few stumble upon Ongezellig twitter only to end up harassed and 'xed (holy keyed).

So who uses Twitter? Pretty much everyone, it's a big hugbox of a site with virtually everyone on it, and as a consequence it infects imageboard culture due to how broad the userbase is. There's user overlap with Discord, Reddit, 4chan, the Sharty, and of course us.

Importance for Zaryans

Twitter is the first line of defense where Zaryans protect Ongezellig against trannies, due to its popular nature it normally attracts all kinds of scum and dregs of the Internet. Popular defensive tactics include:

• spamming gems under a tranny's post hoping to make xher believe Ongezellig is a series for chudcels

• doxing the tranny

• asking grok to "add an israeli flag to this image" to make the tranny seethe

• saying nigger
• manually editing the post of the zelligger to include chudslop

• asking "nicely" to fuck off

The most effective strategy is doxing, but 'xs are never publicly shared on the Zarty in order to avoid snitches and also because Zoot chose a vantablack retard gorilla nigger of a provider which doesn't tolerate the unwholesome sharing of personal informations. So if you do plan on 'xing someone, you'll have to do it on your own.

Notable projects

Project GOY

Project ROY was a 'cord psyop, run by other 'corders and faggots, which was started on April 22nd 2024, and was aimed at being a spiritual continuation of Ongezellig through the use of the comic strip medium. They currently possess a website and a dedicated Xitter page where they occasionally "claim" to be "working" on the comics.

It is to be noted that some of these strips have been worked on for almost longer than it took for Zaryans to complete the Reanimated collab. Make your own conclusions.

They created three comics so far:

• Vera, which was completed on September 7th 2024 and is regarded as "coalish".

• Maya's camping trip, announced on April 22nd 2024, it's currently being worked on and has 3 pages, including the cover.

• Maya's Valentine's Day, also announced on April 22nd 2024, it's currently put on hiatus and also has 3 pages, including the cover. (Doebeit it isn't available on the website)

The sentiment amongst Zaryans is that this project will either never get finished, will be stuck in the mud of 'cord drama (this seems to be the most likely case, since they keep missing deadlines and keep hiring people who absolutely despise Zaryans) or that will devolve into something which linking feature to Ongezellig would only be its name. Nonetheless there are very talented people working in the project such as Cam or Aiden, and Zoot is even listed as "moral support".

If that wasn't enough, even Massa condemned these kind of projects, or however the zombies are resurrected (ev&doe nothing will ever happen since he abandonned the project to begin with, and Project Goy will never produce more than the Vera comic.)

As of May 2025, the project is completely inactive, and safe to say, DEAD.

Jap n' Jew

Jap n' Jap was another reddit wholesome chungus project, started on July 28th 2024, which work ethic is comparable to that of a dead belgian. It tells the story of Mymy and her interactions with a Japanese blind female student. It was apparently the work of only one person, to be more specific, of what seems to be an Indonesian teenage girl (Source: Japsterdam), an ex-soyteen, the same one which made the musical parody "Ongezellig 2023", since some of the dialogue is written in almost perfect Indonesian and the rest contains a good amount of typical ESL mistakes. The comic strip has been put on indefinite hiatus, and the original account where the comic was being held got deleted. The project has only produced 6 panels and is considered DEAD by most Zaryans.

Zaryans regard this as a textbook example of bothered coal, due to the dialogue being barely readable, the rusty art style, the cast acting out of character (ie: Maya beats up Mymy), the reddit-esque humor and a self insert character taking up the lead for almost half of the panels, and many other reasons.

FNF like having fun I don't give a 'zellig

Funkezellig is a project run by a literal FNF smelly pedo shitskin going by the name of Kane_Sucks. He was friends with another massive tranny faggot, fallenchungus (that one troon who made this kind of unfunny brimstone comics and who got rightfully doxed for it). He is so terminally online that I couldn't be bothered to scroll through the hundreds of tweets to find out when he discovered about our favourite dutch gem, but it can be assumed that he was a tourist who got hooked in after Update 130. He also introduced the latter to Ongezellig on der 'cord, and if it wasn't enough he uses Plebbit too. The project has been dragged on for almost a year, and the only informations about it are a few snippets of the songs and sprites of the girls' still animations and the BF in the Ongezellig "artstyle". Kane has recently mentioned that he plans to leave the community for good and never mention it ever again: this probably means that this project will (thankfully) never be completed.

Zaryans were always hostile to this project and the person making it with some calling for a full dox, due to Kane being a whiny FNF tranny faggot, and being at the head of the moderation of r/ongezellig.

DNB of Boer

As the title says, this DNB of a project was started around December 2024, and it plans to be an Ongezellig horror game. It has ties to der 'cord and is run by a Chilean meximutt, so it was always going to be coal. The game has not seen any major updates since the release of the first level "School", and is currently a dead agugu baby.

The project was so uninteresting that Zaryans didn't even comment about it.

Ongezellig: The Dead Novel

There have been 3 attempts at making a VN of 'zellig, one from Zaryans, one from a singular Twittercaca, and a third one from da 'cooooooooord. The first one has been cancelled, the last one is """""being worked on"""""", the second one, which is the one this paragraph is talking about, has been put on indefinite hiatus after its creator had to enroll in the army. He has once posted on the Zarty asking Zaryans if they could help xher with the project, with low interest.

Adopting to Adoption

This project is the zem ^{[citation needed]} that saved the 'zellig community, it was started by none other than LidlyFarts, someone who has ACTUALLY worked on Ongezellig and was hired by Studio Massa to make the comic strip "Maya's Sweet 16". It is a three part comic, set in a hypothetical future where the BWC girls are now older and have gone on with their lives. Apart from Maya of course, who is still the same drooling retard but now with a digital following on some unknown streaming site. The thread dedicated to this project is the thread with the most replies on the Zarty, 1762 at the time of writing this article, and it has produced various memes and in-jokes. The project is also notable for its creator deciding to interact directly with the Zarty (something that has NEVER happened before), and trying to rehabilitate our image in the eyes of the zelliggers: this was met with extreme scrutiny by Zaryans, who often resorted to trolling tactics and harsh criticism, with spikes of drama sometimes as high as 100 pph. Overall the project is regarded as gemmy and it has opened up many possibilities for the Zaryan race. Lidly herself has often interacted with us on the Zarty and over Twitter, mostly to ask for criticism and if the "lore" made sense, even including us in the comic as a small easter egg in the streamer chat and adding an entire original character based off the archetype of the terminally online chud, which will appear in future parts.
